Education evaluation and research
We aim to continually improve education through regular evaluation and by generating evidence about the impact of our education through research.
How to get involved:
The Education Research Group
The Education Research Group is an inter-professional group which meets every 6 to 8 weeks to discuss new education research ideas, presents research that is happening and links researchers with supervisors.

Tips from an aspiring education researcher
Julia is a University of Melbourne student who has completed her MD Research Project looking at parent perceptions of ward rounds. Watch Julia talk about her experience of ward round research:
How did you engage the staff and patients on the wards?
Was it hard not to put words in the carers mouths during the interviews?
How many interviews on the wards should you aim to complete in one day?
On average how long did the transcribing take?
What was your greatest challenge?
What are the top 3 things you wished you knew to ensure this was a smooth process?
We have a number of education research projects on offer. To get involved or to share your own idea contact Education.Hub@rch.org.au.
